Soft Enamel Pin
£5.50
A soft enamel pin of the lapwing that takes pride of place on the cover of the first issue of Heath and Mud.
Lapwings are also sometimes known as "peewits", a reference to their distinctive birdsong. They're rare across the UK at the moment, but can often be seen in summer months over the moorland in the Peak District.
"Soft enamel" means that the metallic sections of the design are slightly raised above the black sections of the design. The pin badge itself is solid.
The wingspan of the lapwing design is approximately 1.5 inches.
The pin has a rubber clasp on the back to secure it.
