Mini Zine - Bleaklow
This first "mini" issue of Heath and Mud is a meditation on the moors that lie across one of the highest points of the Peak District: Bleaklow.
An early morning blanket of low cloud and mist hangs over the top of the moor as we arrive and ready ourselves to set off on our walk.
Boots laced, we’ll be picking up the Pennine Way, and trusting it to lead us across the heath, which is currently obscured from view.
As the morning moves on and the day lightens, the clouds lift, and our path becomes clear.
In the heart of the grasses and peat, we’ll be asking ourselves;
What do we take into the moors with us?
What do we expect to be met with when we visit?
And what do we hope to leave behind?
Once printing costs are covered, any income from the sales of this zine will be donated to the Peak and Northern Footpaths Society.
This issue is A6 in size, bound, and is 52 pages long. It'll be posted out in a recyclable mailer to keep it safe in transit.
