A3 Lino Print - "Welcome to the Peaks"

An A3 lino print of the beautiful front cover of Issue 1 of Heath and Mud; "Welcome to the Peaks".
This design was originally drawn by the extremely talented Bunty May Marshall.

The design has been scaled up during the process of me replicating it to the lino block, and it lends itself to a dramatic print. I transferred the image to a lino block, carved it and printed it by hand in Sheffield.

This will be a numbered edition of 30 prints, with each numbered in the bottom-left hand corner of the paper.
Due to the nature of lino printing, each print will be individual and slightly different - offering a unique character and a print that is just your own (especially as each is printed by hand).

The paper is 190gsm, wood free and acid-free - meaning these prints should last really well. It's slightly off white.
The A3 size is 29.7cm by 42cm (or 11.7 inches by 16.5 inches). The printed area is approximately 26.5cm by 39.2cm.
I've used Cranfield Caligo ink, which has created a really rich contrast highlighting the details of the design.

These prints are packaged in a clear wrap and are backed by heavy duty card to protect them in transit. They will be posted out in an A3 hardbacked envelope by Royal Mail as a Small Parcel - just a heads up that they may not fit through a letterbox.
